Nylon Rod Additives:
To yet further improve the performance of Nylon Rod, manufacturers include additives during manufacture such as Molybdenum disulphide also known as Mos2, this is a black graphite type self lubricant which is an addition to help where ongoing lubrication of components is a problem. Oilon or oil filled nylon is similar to above but with a much further improved performance, oil filled nylon rod will consistently outperform standard nylon rod by many times in terms of wear resistance and component lifespan. Glass filled nylon rod is also very popular, this addition improves rigidity and reduces the thermal expansion rate.
